Sipping Stones

SIPPING STONES

The wonderful people at Sipping Stones sent me a sample box of their Sipping Stones.  These stones come in two colors, grey or white.  The idea behind these stones is to keep your whiskey (or favorite liquor) chilled for your enjoyment, without getting watered down after a while like ice cubes can do.

This is what I was sent:

Inside of the Sipping Stones box comes 9 Sipping Stones and a nifty little travel bag to put them in.  I opened up my box and washed the stones off, as it says to do on the back of the box, and put them in the freezer this morning.  When it was cocktail time this evening, I took them out and boy were they cold!  I was actually amazed at how cold they were, I honestly wasn't expecting them to be as cold as they were.

I made tonight's cocktail and used 3 sipping stones inside.  I let the cocktail sit for a couple minutes to allow the stones to "chill" my cocktail.  Since I used orange juice in my cocktail, it was already a little chilled, so I figured that the test would be to see if my cocktail stayed "chilled" even after it should have gotten to room temperature.  It did!  It worked!  It was a nice surprise to take that sip that you assume will be the "warm sip" and to actually have it chilled, and still tasting just like it did when I made it!

I think if you enjoy your liquor straight up and on the rocks, you will definitely enjoy using these Sipping Stones.  I can think of a few people who would enjoy receiving these as gifts already!  Since these stones were meant to chill your liquor of choice, I decided to also drop one into a small glass of Grappa.

The Grappa was warm out of the bottle and the stone did give it a little chill!  All in all, I think this is a good product.  Now it's time for me to go wash off these 4 stones I used tonight and stick them back into the freezer for next time!

Thank You again to the people at Sipping Stone for sending me my own box of Sipping Stones, they will definitely come in handy and be used around this house!  Cheers!!

Bacmar International LLC.

BACMAR INTERNATIONAL LLC.

Bacmar International LLC. shipped me a box with 2 of their products inside as well as a flier and recipe booklet.  Here is a photo of what I received:

Here are the two bottles:

My husband and I opened up the bottle of their Spiced Rum called "The Lash" first.  On the flier they sent us it shows that you should enjoy this rum either "Neat" (which means pouring it into a cocktail glass by itself) or "On The Rocks" (which means putting ice into your cocktail glass before pouring the rum inside).  We chose to try it "On The Rocks".

I must say, WOW!  As you all know I am not one who likes the straight up flavor of alcohol and will usually mask it with fruit mixes or something else.  This rum "The Lash", I could HONESTLY drink it as is on the rocks!  The flavors in this rum were VERY good.  I could definitely taste the oakey flavor as well as the spices.  My husband and I both could taste what we believe is clove flavoring in the rum which is a very nice touch.  I would definitely buy this rum again and again if they sold it in our state!  I could see myself buying it for my friends and family who enjoy rum as well.  All in all, The Lash got 5 shots out of 5 from The Cocktail Lady!!

Here are photos of how we enjoyed it:

Next I opened up the bottle of Voyant Chai Cream Liqueur.  First I smelled the inside of the bottle, yum!  It smelled like a Starbucks Chai Lattel!  I couldn't wait to try it, so I poured a small amount into my shot glass and took a sip.  This stuff is GOOD!  It actually tasted a bit like Egg Nog to me, which I surprisingly really liked!  I had my husband try it too and he said the same thing.  I could not wait to try it in a cocktail........so why wait?  Tonight's cocktail is a Chai Berry Martini.  Voyant Chai got 5 shots out of 5 from The Cocktail Lady as well!!

Here is a photo of the Voyant Chai Cream Liqueur bottle:

If and when they start distributing these two items in my state I guarantee that I will DEFINITELY buy them both again!  Thank You to Bacmar International LLC. for making and shipping these products to me to try.  I will be enjoying these two bottles for nights to come!   Cheers!!

I want to include the web sites for each item that they've sent me.  Check them out!  I can't wait until they distribute in my state!!
